…Bwah! All right, I hit today’s goal! Ossu!

Ahhh, it’s exhilarating! Working up a sweat doing muscle training, it’s the ideal man’s day off! The fatigue feels so good~…☆

(At this rate, maybe I can even start going harder in my training?)

(U~myu… I’ve always wanted a set of rippling abs, so I’ve been focused on building those up.)

(If I just work on specific places, it’ll be unnatural and awkward and interfere with my movements.)

(Well, it doesn’t actually matter if they’re uneven or weirdly proportioned or something, as long as they complement each other.)

So I’ve been thinking it’s not enough to just keep doing what I’m told, like I have been up to now—

Well, it’s a different story working in the agency, but at school I’m the leader of Ryuseitai.

I’ve gotta like, guide my kouhai and everyone in the club too, so I’ve been studying up on how to do that.

I’m not so good at using my head, so I’m having a tough time with it.

But every day’s fulfilling! And lots of fun! If I’m in a good mood I’ll have more energy, and that’ll let me train more efficiently!

…Nn? It’s already past hours for the training room?

And if I don’t go home now, they won’t be able to clean up?

Uwah, sorry about that! I’ll go change my clothes right now so I can get out!

Sorry, it’s like I get so absorbed in this that I just lose all sense of time and stuff!

…Whoa?! Crap! I was flailing around so much the barbell fell!

That totally almost crushed my foot~ I broke out into a cold sweat!

Fufu. You’re telling me to calm down, and I don’t have to rush? I gotcha! But I’m pretty sure I’m always gonna be kinda careless like this… ♪

Anddd up you go. Phew, that’s a relief… The floor didn’t get busted up where the barbell fell. It’d be bad if I had to pay to fix it or something.

Ossu. I’ve been using the training room here a lot since it’s pretty cheap… Yup, it’s ‘cause we’re pretty broke right now.

So we’ve got Ryuseitai, right? And Ryuseitai-M operates within this building and it’s this veteran unit that rakes in all sorts of cash, so we can live in the lap of luxury.

But then there’s the in-school unit Ryuseitai-N, that’s led by me—Nagumo Tetora—and we’re kinda treated like a secondary group… so we’re scraping the bottom of the barrel, to say the least.

It’s my fault, though. I had all sorts of trouble back when I was picking a unit, y’see.

So I let up on the Ryuseitai entrance exam—

And we got this rush of new members as a result. Just the cost of maintenance and management alone is through the roof.

And to make matters worse, Ryuseitai-N is just starting out, so we haven’t done anything noteworthy yet.

We’re spending all this money, but we’ve got nothing coming back in.

And ‘cause of that, we’re lacking in all sorts of places, and that means the overall quality’s gonna plummet~ It’s just this vicious cycle.

I dunno what to do… I inherited Ryuseitai from my seniors, so I really wanna make it awesome and not just let it rot away.

But I’m just no good at it. I just don’t have it in me, ossu.

…Oops. My bad, I should quit complaining. I’ll go get changed and get ready to go home.

It’d be embarrassing and cause all kinds of problems if you saw me get undressed, so you mind turning around?

…I’m fine. I have some great, reliable friends like Midori-kun and Shinobu-kun who’ve been helping me out since way before.

And if worse comes to worst, we’ve got Ryuseitai-M—our main force to back us up.

But it’s totally lame for a guy to keep relying on his senors all the time! So I’m putting in the effort to train myself every day and squeezing out every last drop of sense I’ve got!
