Opening Speech

Thank you for coming today; I welcome you.

First, I’d like to show my appreciation to you all for celebrating my birthday. Thank you.

…Mm. Simply knowing that there are so many people who love my art makes me glad to have held this event.

Oh, have any of you seen the exhibit in the lobby yet? I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to display some select works.

It’s only natural that I would entertain the guests who have come all this way.
